Interactive Ornament 2001 |

I made a list, and I checked it twice ... and
if I hadn't misplaced your address during the past year, then it is likely that you were
among the unfortunates to whom I mailed one of these ridiculous holiday creations early
this December.
It's the official www.jeffthomas.com "Interactive Ornament" [Pat. Pending], the
world's first Web site on a 3" CD that's also a lovely keepsake decoration for your
Christmas tree. |
The future of holiday cards? ... Or
a CD-based promotional strategy that would embarrass even AOL? You be the judge!
Here are a couple of frames from the television commercial promoting
the www.jeffthomas.com Interactive Ornament. The small, rounded
glasses that I'm wearing and the noticeable facial hair are part of a plan that I had in
place to closely resemble a certain traditional, jolly holiday icon. I was also to
wear a big red suit and to gain approximately 300 pounds for that role. Alas, the
commercial never airs after focus groups deem me "not credible ... even creepy."
Luckily, my friends Colleen and Dee's son Grayson comes to the rescue
as a more likable spokesperson for the www.jeffthomas.com Interactive Ornament.
You'll remember Grayson from his popular jeffthomas.com photo shoots in Gallery #7 and Gallery #13.
Grayson agrees to pose for this www.jeffthomas.com Interactive
Ornament promotional shot in exchange for my posting his Christmas portfolio
below. Click on any image to see a larger version, then hit your "back"
button to return to this page. Pay special attention to the new teeth ... this kid
keeps getting better and better looking.
If you're interested in receiving a free www.jeffthomas.com
Interactive Ornament, write to me at jeffthomas@jeffthomas.com. If you just want to tell me how
adorable Grayson is, don't bother; I already know ... and I tend to get a little bit bent
out of shape whenever I'm shown up by a one-year-old on my very own Web site! [And,
believe me, it happens a lot!]
